Thierry and I met in St Martin in 2008, through his photographer work, as explained in "Thierry Dehove, Photographer".

This random meeting at le Gallion's beach was the first of many to follow, through which I soon discovered "TP", aka, "Tropical-Paradise".


The story of TP is an echoe to Kitesurfari Sxm, as it started in a similar way: an idea and a desire to share it...


Thierry started kitesurfing almost at the start of the sport, after 10 years of windsurf. He kept both disciplines for the first year before fully committing to kitesurfing.

The 3d September 2003, he snapped: he quit his Art director position and safe employment in Paris to move to Anguilla. All he had in mind then was to kite his head off.


Tropical-Paradise came to exist six months later, initially as Thierry's personal blog: community networks didn't exist back then and his friends kept on harassing him for pictures and Caribbean updates... Read More, click here
